Johnson Mr. and Mrs. Horace Burrows and son Johnny went to Salt Iake City Sunday to meet their son and brother, Cashe, who from an LIDS mission in England. Its really good to have Cashe home. Mr. and Mrs. Kyran Sorensen have moved to Sail Lake where Kyran has employment. Mrs. Elburn Sorensen helped move them, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Sorensen and son of Piovo, returned home with her. Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Lamb and daughters went to California for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. C!a k Lamb and family went to Spanish Fork for Thanksgiving and to attend the wedding reception of Marilyn Lamb. Hr. and Mrs. Dre Anderson and daughters went to California for the Thanksgiving holidays. They took their daughter Rosalie and children home. Mr. and Mrs. LaNard E. Johnson and daughters and Mrs. LaNard Johnson sjxnt Thanksgiving holidays in Salt Lake, with the Dennis Salters and Kirk Covingtons. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Crofts and children spent Thanksgiving with the James Ileaton family in Sail Lake City. Mrs. Eliza Cox went with them to Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Reese and children, Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Hey borne and family and Susan Heaton went to Albuquerqu to spend Thanksgiving with the Dr. Fred Heaton family. Students home from various Mr. and Mrs. colleges were: Bill Heaton, Gary Lee Heaton, Reed Fisher and friend, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fisher, Cherrie Lee Adair from BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Max Esplin and Mrs. Esplins sister from BYU also. Mr. and Mrs. A1 Zylstra, Elaine Spencer, Gail Esplin, DeLin Barton, Gene DeMillc from CSU. Patty Salter from Ilenagers, also James d Christiansen from BYU. The Arden Bairds visited in Richfield Sunday. Mrs. J. E. Crofts returned home Frdiay after undergoing medical treatment in Salt Lake City for sometime. The former Madolyn Carroll and husband and children were visitors at ihe Henry Carroll home. Visitors at the Grace Heaton home were Mr. and Mrs. Lane Tait and children of M:squite; and Mr. and Mrs. Dell son, Lovina Heaton of Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitors at the B, II. Sorenson home were Mrs. and Mrs. Monte Sorenson and family of Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Voi Sorenson and daughter of Enterprise; Quo of California and Amron Humnh-reand son of Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. DtMoin Sorensen and family of Cedar City, visited at the J. E. Crofts home. Mr. and Mrs. Retry Lamb went to Hurricane to have their Thanksgiving dinner with the Joel Whites and other family members. Mr. and Mis. Bill Esplin and family of Cedar City visited at the Horracr Burrows home Sunday afternoon and to hear Cashe speak in sacrament mt'oting. Mr. and Mrs. Kez Meeks visited at the Perry Troy home during Thanksgiving holiday, from their home in Henderson, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Mont Lamb from the state of Washington, visited the Edward Lamb home Saturday and Sunday; members of the family got together Sunday afternoon, those here were: Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Leany, Hurricane; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Lamb; and other family Covington members nearby. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Robert Spencer from Glendale; and Cashe Burrows, Pres, and Mrs. Claud Glazier and son attended the meeting also. Being gone during the holiday I know I have missed people who were here, I would appreciate it if you would call me and tell me n:ws. r Sx-nce- Mr. and Mrs. Claud Glazier had all of Nabbies sisters and families with them over the Thanksgiving weekend. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Don Gubier (Harriet) came from Hurricane, after spending Thanksgiving in Hurricane with Dons family. Some of the young people home over the weekend from iheir studies were: Roger Jones from Pasadena State College, Pasadena, Calif.; George Pugh from Arizona State at Flagstaff; from Dixie: Carol Riggs, Adele Crosby and Merl Morris. From Kathleen and Patric Provo: Lewis, Zo Rae Church, Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Willis, Mike Apple-gate- , Marvin McAllister, Randy Chamberlain, Tony Chatterley. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Holland and Kevin Janes from University of Utah. Donald Beard and Barry Kelly from Weber Slate College and Richard Judd from Snow College. Mr. and Mrs. David Ogdon were down from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Cram and family and Mrs. Jesse spent Thursday in Las Maes sister. with Vegas Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Corry and children and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Glover and children were also in Las Vegas to spend the holiday with Pauline and Anitas mother. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Bybee were Thanksgiving guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ber-del- l Haycock, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lewis and family spent Thanksgiving in Grand Junction, Colo., wiih Katies family. Douglas Crosby was horn? from Las Vegas for dinner with hi'- parents and to say hello to other relatives and friends. Marie Adele Crosby was home fiom Dixie for Thanksgiving, at the home cf her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Crosby. The Junior Cultural leagu met at the home of Mrs. Marvin Jensen and Leona Swallow showed her slides of ihe Holy Land. The program was most enjoyable and appropriate for the holiday season. Burton Howard and family frem Salt Lake City spent the holiday at the Fred Howards. Some students home for the holidays were DanL Frost, Linda Jean Crosby, Terry Lewis. Dr. and Mrs. Aiken had her sister Glenna from Las Vegas and his sister Katherine and husband and son from Sevier for Thanksgiving. Mrs. Emily Brinkerhoff has been confined to the Page Hospital for some time. Anyone traveling that way could certainly lift her day by stopping to say hello. The LeRoy Judd family, the DelMont McAllisters and Frank Farnsworth celebrated Thanksgiving with their sisters Vinnie and Hazel and families in Las Vegas. Florian Johnson entertained two tables of bridge Saturday. Prizes went to Wilmirth Jones and Abbie Findlay. Due to so many folks home for the holidays we have run out of snace. Helen Bennett visited in last week with her sister Seot-isdal- e MacDonald and Geraldine fami- ly- The Freshmen class of Fredonia High School put on the last assembly Thanksgiving Wednesday, Nov. 22, which included a pie eating contest. The highlight of the assembly was the presentation of two trophies received from the Arizona Interscholastic Assn., for the Lynx football team activities. One trophy was received for the Fredonia team being the undefeated champions of the northern league and the other trophy for winning the state championship. The school board, faculty, and mothers of the Fredonia football players are planning a banquet for the team this Friday evening at the school house.
