Mrs. Arnell Leaterwood, Mrs. Morris Jake and daughters, Miss Linda, and Alwyn Goodall and Edward Sullivan, were among the local congregation memb- ers who attended the funeral services at Phoenix this week for the Reverend Samuel Peter Paglia. Reverend Paglia passed away on June 19 at a Phoenix hospital. He had been pastor at the Kanab Baptist Church for several years. Memorial services will be held at Kanab on Sunday, June 28, at 11 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Knell Parker and daughter, Susan, returned from a four day trip to Mesa. While there, they visited th Mason Cottams, the Merle Hendrixes, and their daughter, Mrs Carl Lukus and husband. They also were guests of relatives at Cottonwood, Camp Verde and Flagstaff, on their return trip. , . Her daughter, Mrs. Virgil Riggs, Kanab, is also seeing her mother while she is here from Scottsdale, ArlzQna, where she makes her home since her retirement several ytars ago.
