Our Poppy Poster Contest was a great success. We received 17 posters from the 6th grade which were all very good and we were happy so many entered. Geniel Crosby and Cherry Cram won 1st and 2nd. Coral Lee Swapp, Sterling Gardner and Gary Bayless from the Junior high and high school were winners. These students were all given cash prizes. Van Riding and Cheryl MacDonald placed first and second in the Americanism contest in that order. Their essays were then sent to District Seven headquarters and Cheryl won 2nd in the division.
