Farr Gregory Brooksby, 12 year old son of the Eldon Brooksbys celebrated his birthday Tuesday with a party for 21 guests at his home. The sixth graders played games and enjoyed the tiered iced angel foojd cake especially prepared and served by the hostess, Mrs. Brooksby. The local Jaycees- had a fine Turkey Shoot last Saturday. The anticipated profit was not realized so they will hold another "shoot for the public Dec. 7th, at the same place. Erwin Judd won the rifle awarded at the drawing last Saturday. Merrill U. Button, club president, urges all hunters to come out to help the Jaycees and get their Xmas Turkey early Dec. 7th. - The Thanksgiving holiday was the time for many family gatherings in our town.
