I would have liked to have said goodbye to everyone personally, but time ran out. I have to be in Nephi Monday, September 22, so, by the .time you read this, I shall be long gone. My' wife and family will be here for a few weeks while I find a place to move into. We hope to come back from time to time to visit, because, to our family, Kanab is Home! We certainly hate to leave, but there doesnt seem to be much we can do about it. Speaking for myself, I know I am going to miss these old, red hills: the friendly people in Long Valley and Alton; the screams and groans I hear from the doctors offices when I have been trying to concentrate in my office nearby. Ill miss those long, hot, dusty roads in Mohave county, and the Pipe Springs and Soil Conservation district Ill even miss the Indians sitting on the church lawn in Kanab in dedication ceremonies of dollar highway from Kanab to Gler Canyon Friday, Governor George D .
