"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given." Id like to report that not only have we had another child, but that Isaiahs prophecy is true it is a son again, our fourth. I want you to know though that we are just as proud of our fourth son as we were of our first and the two in the middle. Incidentally. I gain a renewed appreciation of my wife with each baby by trying to take over her chores until she is able to again. I find that what she seems to do so eaisly is a heck of a lot of work. It any of you are tired cleaning ditches, you may be interested in the weed control demonstration in Elmer Judds ditch on his farm below Kanab. Last spring Elmer and I sprayed his ditch with a ground sterllant called C.M.U. and marketed under the name of Karmex. We used Vilb to a square rod or in Elmers ditch i lb treated about 80 feet of ditch. If this treatment had been put on in the fall or winter, winter moisture would have it into the ground but as we did it In the spring, Elmer filled his ditch with water and let it soak in. This gave excellent control this year and is expected to be effective for several more years. Lining ditches with cement will not only control weeds but will stop water seepage and erosion but if you're not plannng D. 4-- NOTICE TO CREDITORS ...BE THERE SEPT. 13-- 22 ' IS IN KANAB, UTAH EVERY SATURDAY 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. NO. 8 WATSON BYBEE BUILDING ROOM Practice Devoted to Visual Cere in all Its Phases FOR APPOINTMENTS: Call Dr. Rich, Saturdays at Kanab, MI On Other Days Call Kanab Ml (Kanab Laundry) Salute to SAN JUAN COUNTY Land of Untapped Wealth and Awesome Wonder Alton nevs events By ALLEN M.
