Starting time will be 2 p.m. With a large number of teenage drivers signed up Mr. Jorgenson said that interest is high in this driving skill test, which is a National-widevent started by the Jaycees some years ago. Main purpose of the Road-E-is to impress on the younger set of drivers the importance of skill and safety in driving. The winner of the national test will recelve'a $2,000 scholarship with the second place winner receiving $1500 and third place $1,000. The local Jaycees and Jayce-ettare working to keep this event going here as an annual activity, with visions of a national contestant The Club asks the backing and participation of other clubs here for this activity. Winners of the local test will receive a pen and pencil set for each boy and girl Second prize for each will be a bronze key. Third and fourth place winners in each class will also r.eceive the keys.
