He was drafted into the U.S. Army from Sept 4, until Dec. 28, 1918 at Camp Kearney, Cal. His first wife passed away October 20, 1930. Children born to this union were W. Reo of Orderville, Gwen H. Adams of Price, Mary H. Janes of Nephl, and Helen H. Hall, Hurricane. He married Grace Gardner of Mt. Carmel in. the Salt Lake Temple on June 20, 1934. Children born to this union are Dale G., Madeline, LuJean, and Lov-lnall of Orderville. William C. Heaton was a long time businessman, Civic and Church leader in Orderville, among the many positions of responsibility which he held were Sec. of Town, 1st and 2nd Coun-sle- r of Y.M.M.LA., Supt of Sunday School, which position he held for eleven years. He drove the Kane County school bus for 21 years. At the time of his death he was a member of the Kanab Stake High Council of the LDS Church and a member of the County Draft Board. He died as the result of an accident at the Heaton Brothers Garage on Tuesday, November His funeral was held 27, 1956. Friday, November 30 at 2:00 p. m.
