Those who have a wheat allotment are eligible to apply for this program in Utah. Those who have a wheat allotment and wish to participate in the acreage program must destroy their wheat no later than July 15 and must sign up for participation with the ASC committee no later than July 20. They must not have grazed the Wheatland they wish to have participate after June 22 and no crop must be harvested during the 1956 calendar year. The maximum acreage is 50 percent of the allotment or 50 acres whichever is larger and the minimum Is 10 percent of the allotment or 5 acres whichever Is larger. If the allotment is 5 acres or less it will be the entire allotment. If a violation occurs such as willfully grazing, etc., then the producer s,hall refund all compensation given him and a fine of 50 percent of the compensation he received will be imposed upon him.
