JOB DESCRIPTION: Live in Manzanita Court residence halls with high school age youth participating in the Upward Bound Project. Provide supervision, individual and group tutoring and couseling. Plan and teach workshops in areas of student interest. Plan and supervise recreational activities. As~ist with academic program. QUAUFICA TIONS: Minimum two years of college experience and in good academic standing at institute last attended. Must be a responsible individual with good interpersonal skills and ability to relate to students of varying economic and cultural backgrounds. Experience in tutoring and/or peer counseling preferred. Must be available to live in Manzanita residence halls with the participants and work essentially a twenty-four hour day, seven days per week for duration of program (some weekend tim e off scheduled ahead of time).
