Marriott, assistant · professor of teacher education and chair of UU's cbolarly achievement committee. "Together, these works stand out for their breadth of ubject matter and for their publication in books with intemationaJ circulation," Marriott said. The works earning recognition will be on display in the Gerald R. Sherratt Library during April and May. They will then be bound and housed permanently in the Jibrary's Special Collections area. The honorees will aJso be invited to attend a reception in their honor April 27 at noon in the foyer of the SpeciaJ ColJections section on the garden level of the library. The event, entitled ~cele}:>rating Scholarship" is part of the university's monthly "Sandwiches and cholarship" activity. Faculty members earning scholarly achievement recognition for works during 1998 include (dir Azouz, assistant professor of engineering;. Joe G.
