Six days of classes and activities known as Project Discovery will begin JuJy 5 and run through July 10. The 16th annual program is a product of the Gifted and Talented Institute. "Any student in grades six through nine with advanced skills and who likes learning to be an adventure is invited to attend, .. Susan Durfee, program coordinator, said. "This is a great opportunity for participants to meet o ther srudents w ith liigh educational goals. Students w ho enjoy discovering new ideas, exploring emerging technology, and attending live theater arc prime candidates for chis week of creative learning. " Applications for the workshop arc still being accepted, but enrollment is limited. Application forms arc available through the SUU Division of Continuing Education, Cedar City, Urnh 84720, or by calling 8658275 or 586- 1995. A deposit of SI 00 is due with the application , and the balance of the $395 for the workshop is due when students check in. The class fee includes classes, lab materials and equipment, mc:1ls on campus. lodging, field trip transportation, and Utah Shakespearean Festival tickets.
