ART!-fUR FIELDS SENIOR STAFF WRlTER I remember it as if it were only yesterday ... When the 1994-95 year-round schedules came out las t year, my friends and I were just giddy with anticipation. Just the thought of perusing the new classes, reviewing the procedures fo r adding and dropping classes, and noting the last day to register without a penalty were almost too much for us to take at one time. However, after close examination of the finals schedules on page 6, we noticed a glaring misnomer. Som ehow a mistake was made affecting the second two days of finals during fall, winter, and spring quarters. It would appear that the test. times for 3 p.m. classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday were accidently repeated, replacing the times of any 3 p.m. classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Such a mistake could have easily caused widespread panic as student wandered the campus aimlessly in search of a final. Come graduation degrees would be denied. "I'm sorry, Mr. Fields," they'd say, "but you never took the final for Residential Plumbing I your sophmore year. I'm sorry, but you're going to have to repeat everything all over again." At this point I always wake up screaming. Oh, but it was just a nightmare. And I' m sure it is one shared by each and every one of us.
