While in high she school, homecoming queen, on the drill team and was an honor student. She is a graduate of Stevens Henegar Business College and is now employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Salt Lake. Dean is a graduate of Morgan High School, where he was a member of the Honor Society active in sports, especially basketball where he was chosen for two years. He is also a graduate of Snow College where he also received basketball honors. Cathy and Dean are making their home in Cedar City where Dean will continue his studies at Southern Utah State University. MR. AND MRS. They came to attend the wedding of Cathy Odell, who is their niece, and a they also attended Sorensen family reunion in Provo, on Sunday, Mrs. Kenyon and Mr. Sorensen are a sister and brother of Mrs. Odell. Chad and Jolene Zito are the happy parents of a baby boy, born Aug. 4. They now have two girls and a boy in and Vivian Taylor, and Nelson and Jane Arave have returned from bus tours to the eastern United States. Though they were in different groups their itinerary was essentially the same. several They visited places of interest in LDS Church History, with the Highlight of the trip, the Hill Cumorah in Pageant Palmyra N.Y. and a stop at the LDS Temple in Washington D.C. They also went to Niagara Falls, and New York City, where they took a boat trip to Ellice Island to see the Statue of Liberty. Earl Child have also been back east to Mr. and Mrs. the Hill Cumorah pageant and other places of church history. Their daughter was one of the cast members in the pageant. Catherine Albanese, associate professor of religion at Wright State University; Stephen J. Stein, associate professor of religious studies at Indiana University at Bloomington; Jan Shipps, associate professor of history and religious studies at at University Indiana-Purdu- e Haskins ROY Hosea Wingate, 62, of 4469 S. 2075 W., died Thursday Aug. 7, St. Benedicts Hospital of cancer. Mr. Wingate was born Jan. 19, 1918, in Oakland, Ark., a son of William Henry and Eliza Ann Perkins Wingate. 1980, at was married to Margaret Freestone on Dec. 20, 1941, in Plain City. He years, retiring Nov. 19, 1979. Harrison, Ark., coming to Utah in 1940. He lived in Morgan, Utah; Montello, Nev., for two years, and in Ogden, moving to Roy 21 years ago. He from graduated Harrison, Ark., High School and attended Weber State College. He was active in work for the handicapped and helped in getting legislation and funds for (the Ogden-Webe- r Education Center. He served as legislative representative and president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen No. 98 and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Division 55. He was a member of Weber Lodge No. 6 F and AM of Ogden, and a 32nd Degree Mason in the Utah Consistory of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. He was a member of the BPO Elks 719 of Ogden. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, and had served with the Arkansas Guard. The Roy and Roy North stakes are now conducting a drive. It will continue through Saturday. The Roy West and Hooper stakes will hold a drive Tuesday through Aug. 23, and the Riverdale and South Ogden stakes will conduct a drive Aug. 26 through Aug. 30. Families are urged to donate used items of clothing and household articles for resale through the LDS Church Deseret Industries programs. Team standings listed The team placements for divisional playoffs have been announced. In the senior division, the Riverdale 6th Ward is first place winner.
