She and two other Southern Utah State College cheerleaders won two of ten major awards at the conference. LORI LAMBROS, Former Roy coed places in California contests CEDAR Utah CITY-Soul- hern State College cheerleaders returned from recently National Association Cheerleading camp with a spirit stick and a first place song leading trophy, two of ten major prizes awarded at the conference. At the same camp, Lori a Lambros, cheerleader from Roy, was selected to be an NCA summer camp instructor. She and another cheerleader from Reno, Nevada, were chosen by the camp officials to work with various NCA a cheerleading camps summer SUSC cheerleaders King, Antimony, Lindgren, Anabella, next Julia Lani, Lori Lambros, Roy, and SUSC flag twirler Liz Simkms, Circleville, SUSC at the represented camp which was.held on the UCLA four-da- y campus Lambros and Simkins won the first place song leading trophy for the eight superior ratings they received in individual song routines. We are very pleased with the Los Angeles trip. There were over 150 cheerleaders from 30 colleges and who universities participated in the camp; we believe that we did very well, Kathryn Berg, SUSC womens coordinator of athletics, said.' Simkins, Circleville. , classrooms. Carmela P. Federico, 92, of Smithfield who died on Sept. 16 in Logan was the mother of Mrs. Ward (Julia) Israelson. Mrs. Fererico was born in San Valentino, Italy. Chuck & Beth Prichett, Lily Prichett, Chucks mother all of Purcell, Oklahoma are visiting here with Arley & Lorene Wallace. Mr. Wallace & Mrs. Prichett are brother & sister. Sandridge Camp of DUP met on Friday morning at the home of Kathryn Brady. The lesson Economic & Territorial Progress 1878 was given by Denise Hammon. Business discussion by captain Brady. Present were Mrs. Brady, Mrs. Hammon, Lucy Smith, Nola Joan Jorgensen, Kimber & Ruth Larsen. Verda Knight, Carol Tingen & Lucille Turner were among about thirty volunteer Pink Ladies of Davis North Hospital who attended installation of new auxiliary officers on Saturday. The luncheon was held in the old railroad station in Laton. Kevin Moore is apparently recovering from a serious accident of a few weeks ago. He is on crutches & has a brace. He is the son of Les & Elaine Moore. Betty Larsen is recovering at University Hospital in Salt Lake following surgery on Mllh Thursday. Chuck & Doris Prichett, Lilly Prichett of Purcell, Oklahoma, Arley & Lorene Wallace Nina Wallace were breakfast guests at the home of Grant & Denise Hammon on Saturday morning. Virginia Draper & Donna Glenn of Logan have returned after a 10 day motor trip to Castle Rock, Washington. They visited with Mike & Beverly Glenn & their family. Virginia is Beverlys mother Donna the mother of Mike. The Glenns Sunset former were residents before moving to Cache Valley. Verda Knight was a luncheon guest of Mrs. Norman Littlefield on Thursday at the home of Roy Drabein North Ogden. It was a group of cousins of Mrs. Littlefield. Anna Marian, & Suzy Van Den Boek of Michlen, Belgium left for home on Monday after a three weeks visit here. They became friends of Vance Lightfoot while he was on a mission in that area & have visited here with Thomas & HANK THOMPSON . to perform at Terrace I Utah Power processes applications of aged Utah Power & Light Company said Thursday it had processed 28,000 applicants who qualify under a Utah Public Service Commission order giving a special concession to heads of house holds age 65 and older. As of Wednesday night, the utility said 2,00o applications remain un- processed.
