Show 'CLEARFIELD COURIER, HOOPER STAKE FIRST WARD Because of conference, fast meeting will be on the 2nd Sunday in April. There will be a special Priesthood session at the temple tonight at 7:45. ROY NORTH STAKE The stake Sweetheart Ball will be held on Saturday at All the stake center. members of the stake 14 years and older are invited to dance to the music of Gene Gaytons band. A couple from each ward will be honored, as sweethearts. The stake Relief Society is sponsoring a Childrens Seminar on Saturday, with Carole Dawn Smith as the instructor. Any mothers of the stake interested in ob serving children in a nursery situation, are invited. Ideas for Family Home Evening, educational toys to make, and many other activities for children will be shown. Relief nursery Society leaders are also encouraged to attend A class in Marriage Communications is being scheduled, with 8 two hour sessions planned. There will lx a charge of $20 for the course, and if you are in- terested, contact your bishop. SIXTH WARD Hall has been released as Elders Quorum Alan president, along with his counselors, Mike Goodwin, and Randall Parkinson, and Secretary, Dennis Brewer. The title of Outstanding Missionary has been given Elder Duncan by his mission president, Russell C. A dinner and program will be featured. NINTH WARD The Mia Maids will hold a bake sale after mutual on March 22. The Relief Society will have the Social Relations and Mother Education lessons at their meetings next Thursday. The baby of Gary and Peggy Bingham has been blessed by his father and named Curtis Lee. The Mutual girls and their mothers are invited to the Celestial Night on April 19. TWELFTH WARD Super Social is the special event planned for March 24, for all ward members. There will be a dinner, a Walt Disney movie for the kids, and following the movie all families are invited to stay for round dancing. Popcorn and candy will be sold during the evening. Jeanette Jensen, daughter of Marvin and Cheryl Jensen has been baptized and confirmed. The Social Relations and Mother Education lessons will be taught at Relief Society next week. LAKEVIEW WARD John Riley has been sustained as Scoutmaster. David Parks has been ordained a Teacher. The Relief Society Birthday social will be March 22 at 7 p m. The theme Circle of Womanhood will be featured in the program and luncheon. The congregation, carrying palms and singing a hymn, will procede to the chapel. THIRTEENTH WARD The High Priests of the ward will have a social on Ohlin, and Bob and Rick Wallace and Scott Brown have been ordained Elders. The baby of Jack and Pam Toll was blessed by her father, and named Melanie. Nolan Clint Nelson, son of Nolan and Shanna Nelson has been baptized and was confirmed by bishop Dari Field. The Social Relations and Mother Education lessons will be taught at Relief Society next week. This will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the 9th, 12th, and 16th Ward Cultural Hall. All women 18 and over within the stake are invited to attend. Bishoprics from all the wards are especially encouraged to attend. At the seminar, Lorna Janes, the Stake Relief Society Nursery leader will introduce the ward nursery leaders. Special assistant will be Carole Dawn Smith from Roy 12th Ward. She and and Mrs. Jones will present an classroom actual situation with nursery children involvement.
