Gymnastics continue competition Just over two years ago, Teddie Endow entered her first tumbling competition. She placed last. None of the coaches had any idea that within three months Teddie would win the states Most Improved Competitor Award as she placed second state. Last Friday, Teddie Endow competed in her first state championship in a new sport gymnastics. In less than four months, Ms. Endow, 10, was able to win stale title in floor exercise and vaulting in and win the 1976 USGF title for the 10-1- 1 year division. Competing for the Club of TAGS Gymnastic Woods Cross, Teddie is now coached by Mike Dennison. The scores per event out of a possible of 10 were 8.85 in floor exercise, 8.05 for balance beam, 7.95 on uneven parallel bars, and 8.75 on score vault for an of 33.60. That score was the second highest score for the entire competition regardless of age. Teammate Dana Tingey, competing in the 4 division, scored a 34.3 as she, too, won the state all around title.
