Blanche Parker has been in the hospital for eye surgery. She is home now and getting along nicely Randy and Debbie Bastian of West Point are the proud patents of a baby boy, their second child. Brown of 116 Ellison in Iayton will be honored at an open house on Friday, marking their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. Brown was bom in Roy, a son of Martin and Edna Bingham Brown, an J had been a farmer here. The open house will be held at the Layton LDS 18th Ward Cultural Hall from 7 to 10 pm Mr. and Mrs Stanley Porter of Roy have a baby daughter bom Aug. 17 at McKay Hospital. Mrs Porter is the former Sheila Sims, daughter of Norma Sims. We extend our sympathy to several Roy residents, who have had deaths in their families. The father of George Stettler, Albert Stet-tlepassed away recently. His funeral and burial were held in Logan. Dorothy J Tincher, of Brigham City, mother of Bruce Tincher, passed away Aug. 11 at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City after a short illness. Funeral services were held last Thursday in Brigham City.
