Mr. and Mrs. Smiths other daughter, Carol, and her husband, Joe Broadbent, of Evanston, Wyoming, became parents of their seventh child, a baby boy, bom about two weeks ago, in Ogden. They have five boys and two girls in their family. While their children were here, the family all got together for a reunion at the Smith home. Their son Stephen and his family, came from Granger and Mrs. Smiths brother, Melvin Harrison and his family of Bountiful also attended the runion. A camping trip to the Uintas was a delightful occasion for Mr. and Mrs. Blair Beck. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. Deb Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harris and their families. Alton and Becky Stepheas are visiting at the home of Mrs. Stephens parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Higham. Mr. Stephens is in the Air Force and is being reassigned to Texas. W'hile they have been here, they have had a new baby which is their first child. Tne new child is also the first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Higham. Weaver took their family to Bear Lake and other places in that area for a few days of relaxation. Marilyn Bodily and her two sons drove to Boise, Idaho, last week to visit with relatives. Ross Johnson was injured in an auto accident near Thistle, Utah. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for severe cuts and lacerations and a broken arm. He has been released from the hospital and is recuperating at home. Ben and Lerene VanAarle are parents of a baby boy bom at McKay Hospital on July 21. A baby girl arrived July 27 at McKay Hospital to Douglas and Debra Ball. Blake and Colleen Hazen of Ogden have a new baby daughter bom July 27. This is their second child. Garcia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Liofredo Garcia of 436 West 1185 North, Sunset, Utah, has completed Air Force basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex. During his six weeks training, he studied the Air Force mission, organization arid customs and received special instruction in human relations. The airman is remaining at Uie Air Training Command base for specialized training in the security police field. Airman Garcia is a 1972 graduate of Clearfield High School. His wife, Marcene, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark J. Perry of 871 Birch St., Clearfield. Charles Lee Garcia nerve in her back. Sherrie Martin has just retimed from a delightful trip to Hawaii, which she enjoyed with a group of friends. Donald Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Green, is in the hospital for tests. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wursten of Provo have a new baby boy, born July 23. Larry is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wursten of Roy and his wife Marily is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Meyer of Hooper. This is the 2nd son for the j oung couple. Mr. and Mrs. Meloy Johnson took their family for a vacation trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota and to Mount Rushmore. Frank and Ruth Simmons and their family, went to Hot Springs last , Lava weekend to attend a family reunion. Lloyd Johnson broke both his arms in an accident last week. He is home now and getting along quite well. Norvell and Esther Thompson have a new baby boy, bom July 21. They now have three boys and three girls in their family.
