The theme will be Back to School Night. held in the form of an open house, and the entire family is encouraged to attend. Families are asked to come at the time corresponding with the first letter of their last name as follows: 6:30-7;1A to I; 7:15 to 8, J toO; 8tc8:45, PtoZ. Families will go directly to the classrooms to meet the teachers and become familiar with class programs and activities. Refreshments will be served in the multi purpose room, with musical selections being furnished by students of the school. Members of the executive committee of the PTA are: Mrs. David Skidmore, President; Mrs. Deward Webster, first vice president and program chairman; Principal Lincoln Sorensen, second vice president; Mrs. Don Lasater, third vice president and bylaws and legislation chairman; Mrs. James Gentry, fourth vice president and membership chairman; Mrs. Mary Wadsworth, fiftn vice president and historian. Mrs. Noel Sill is secretary and Mrs. Fred Bateman is treasurer. Born March 17, 1891 in Preston, Idaho, Mr. Sharp is a son of Joseph Truman and Elsie Lamb Sharp. He served an LDS mission in England in Mr. and Mrs. Sharp had a farm in Preston. They have been Sunset residents for the past 20 years. They have 34 58 n. i The Robert Hodge family joined in with family member to honor their father, Abram R. Hodge in a family dinner on Sunday at Maddoxs in Brigham City in observance of his 80th birthday. Mr. Hodge who lives in Garland, has been employed by the Utah-Idah- o Sugar Co. in Idaho, South Dakota and Montana, coming to Utah in 1940. He is the father of 5 sons and 2 daughters, six of whom are still living. His wife Dora Dalling died in 1934, he married Hattie Buttars Archibald in 1942. He has been active in the scouting program, a member of the Boosters Club in Sugar City and a member of the Garland Lions Club. Clifton and Wendy Ammons new son arrived Sept. 26. Jack Hobbs was among those going on the elk hunt the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Jerrold Dalton, their daughter Lorena Thornton and her children Jenny and Jerry, Mr. Daltons mother Mrs. Loren Dalton of Cleveland have return' from a trip to Arizona to brm oack Wayne Dalton who has completed an LDS mission in that area. They went to Ganado where Wayne was living then on to Holbrook mission headquarters. The Darwin Olsen family have left Sunset to make their home in Roy. Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Pattillo have their first granddaughter born last week to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pattillo who live in Clinton. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Robinson and their family joined with about 25 other family members in a dinner celebrating Mrs. Robinsons parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Larsens 54th wedding anniversary. It was held in Cove at the family home on Sept. 16 which was also Mrs. Larsens 73rd birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Don Eastman have a new granddaughter.
