She arrived Jan. 23 and is the couples first child. Mrs. Burnett is the former Diane Davies, and this is the first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Davies. Keith Homer has been released from the hospital where he had been very ill 825-664- 6 Mrs. Wanda Ison on the death of her mother last week in Salt Lake City. Graveside services were held last Thursday in Taylorsville. We also express our condolences to Melvin Robertson of Roy on the recent death of his mother. Y :t 4 , following major surgery. He is feeling much bet- ter now. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Tischner have a new baby daughter. She was born Jan. 20 and joins a little brother in the family. Richard Reidhead has arrived home from Germany to join his wife, the former Terry Taylor. He has been stationed there with the Army and has now completed his tour of duty. The youngster will live with the family and attend classes at Roy High School. The main requirement for an AFS host family is the parents concern for and interest in young people, Mrs. Oblock says. AFS International Headquarters in New York City carefully screens candidates who apply for a years stay in the United States. Students come here from over 60 countries.
