Each week from 20,000 o 27,000 letters are received by Mr. and Mrs. George Osmond and their sons Virl.Tom, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay and Donny, reports Robert W. Simpkins, fan club manager. "Those letters that requre an answer such as the requests for fan club information, or asking about the church or seeking help from drugs, are answered. Several hundred letters ask about the church. The Osmonds reply: He belong to the Mormon Church which has many programs and activities to help guide and entertain both young and old. It is more than just a set of religious doctrines - it is a -- way of life. The mail is heavy, but the Osmonds are getting help from many of their convert fans.
