The gown was styled with empire waist, sweetheart neck, long lantern sleeves and floor length skirt. Her double tiered, chapel length viel was of tuelle, edged in appliqued reembroidered lace. Mrs. Other attendants, Blake Costley and Miss Kathryn Judd, sisters of the bride, and Julie Combe, flower girl, wore dresses identical to that of the maid of honor. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until the mixture is the size of small peas. Set aside 2 cups of mixture. Combine ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and baking soda. Blend into remaining flour mixture. Add eggs and buttermilk. Mix just until blended. Pat 1 cup of reserved crumb mixture in bottom buttered baking of 13x9x2-inc- h pan. Spread batter evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle on remaining 1 cup of reserved crumbs. Bake in preheated 375 degree 5 minutes or until oven, cake tests done. Sprinkle flowerettes over hot cake. Serve 0 warm. Makes servings. Note: Coffeecake may be made ahead and frozen. Heat before serving. Multi-col- prepare filling: In a small bowl combine marmalade, orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside. Topre-par- e Puffers: In a mixing bowl cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture. Add buttermilk; mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon 2 tablespoons batter into each cup of a buttered muffin pan, top with about 1 teaspoon filling. Divide remaining batter into cups. Bake preheated 40J 5 minutes. degree oven, Makes 12 servings.
