Mrs. Welker, 65, died on Dec. 3, at home after a long illness of cancer. She is survived by her husband, Lowell B. Welker, a son, Charles Hugh Parry of Ogden, three stepdaughters and 14 grandchildren. The funeral services were band, William Chapman died a month ago. She is survived by three sons and a daughter, 18 grandchildren. Funeral services were on Monday in the Thruber LDS Ward chapel in Bicknell with burial in the Bick-ne- ll Cemetery. Scott Dunaway was among six Clearfield High students appearing on the Enquiring Editor television news quiz over KUTV 2 TV on Saturday morning. Members of the girls team were Debbie Turner, Linda Pilgrim and Susan Sorenson; score 88. The contesting boys group was composed of Scott Dunaway, Bryan Holt and Steven Allsen, score 79. The girls came out victorious on questions fielded them on news photos, comics, cartoons, maps, charts, quotes and on Monday in Ogden with Bishop Paul Reid officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Kendall and their children, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Povey and their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Barfuss of Downey, Idaho spent about a week in Tuscon, Arizona at Thanksgiving time at the home of the Deleon s. Barfuss is a brother of the two girls and son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Barfuss. While Thompson Bar-fuss- in the area they took a trip into Nogales, Mexico and the surrounding areas.
