ROY FIFTH WARD An outing for the Aaronic Priesthood bovs and their dads has been planned for Friday and Saturday. A swimming party is being sponsored by the Stake MIA Saturday at 10 a.m. All girls in the nine wards who participated in the sports program are invited to attend. The affair will be held at the WashA ington Terrace pool. The girls are to take a sack lunch and the drinks will be provided by the stake MIA. There were over 100 Beehive girls and scouts who met at the Riverdale Park Saturday at 7 a.m. for an early bird breakfast. The youngsters enjoyed ham, hot cakes, fried potatoes, milk and juice. Afterwards the group enjoyed playing volleyball, softball and trying their skill at sack racing. RIVERDALE FIRST WARD The Aaronic Priesthood and the girls of the same age will be honored guests along with their parents Saturday at a banquet held in the ward at 6:30 p m. Their dads will accompany them to Man3 which is tua campground between Brigham and Logan where they will camp out Friday night. The fathers and son are to meet at the chapel Friday at 5 p.m. The Relief Society will prepare the evening meal for the group. The girls of the ward who are the same age will hold a slumber party Friday night at the cultural hall along with MIA officers, teachers and some of the mothers. They will meet around 7:30 p.m. and if they so desire, may take a sack of goodies to munch on all the hours they will not be slumbering. Saturday morning the girls will go to the Mantua Camp and enjoy breakfast with the boys and their dads. Following the late breakfast, the group will have fun participating in games until afternoon when they plan to return home. The girls baseball team began their practice Wednesday afternoon at the Riverdale Park. Their first league game will be held June 3 with the time and place to be announced later. RIVERDALE FOURTH WARD The Bishops Youth Council has planned a banquet to corn-me- n te the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood. The affair will be held in the Ogden 32nd Ward cultural hall and will be attended by the boys, the same ty construction. Demonstrations and booths will feature crochet beads, cake decorating, party sandwiches and treats, ties and scarves, quilts, embroidery painting, modge podge, macramae, electric repair, fondue, proper table setting, solid embroidery with sil thread. There is no charge except for the lunch which will be served from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. Reservations will be appreciated by the luncheon committee. Displays and demonstrations will be open at 12:45 p.m. and will continue until 2:30 p.m. There will le a 15 minutebreak to set up for a fashion show which will begin at 3 45 p.m., featuring home sewn fashions and a touch of the past. Displays will include talents and hobbies from people of the Clearfield . There will be nobabysitter. General chairman of the event is Vivian Pickett, Ann Rogers and the Relief Society presidents of the seven wards in the stake will assist. Lynada Parons and the social relations - leaders, Rita Gamer, and the secretaries are in charge of decorations. g Ina Reeve and the department and nursery leaders will handle hobby displays, recipe books and nursery helps. Nola Kimber and the visiting teacher leaders, Marior Pop ham and the spiritual living leaders, are in charge of breadmaking. Barbara Rock and Lillian Hansen will direct knitting and crocheting while Vivian Pickett and homemaking counselors will be responsible for the fashion show. Introductions and fashion show help will be directed by Barbara Rock and the music department leaders. A special number was presented by the bishopric. The program was well attended. The costumes are beautiful and the dances are spectacular say those who are working with the festival. The place where the festival will be held Tuesday night will be announced Sunday in the nine wards of the stake. RIVERDALE NINTH WARD The Aaronic Priesthood of the ward are looking forward to a very exciting experience this weekend as the boys, go on an outing with their dads. Lutheran Church The circles of the Lutheran Church Women met this week at the following homes: Rachel Circle: Clara Key, 2195 W. 4950 S Tuesday at 1 pm. The Bible Study was given by Jean Roberts. Dorcas Circle: Sharon Woe-pe- l, 336 Barlow, Clearfield, Tuesday evening, 7:30 p.m. Bible study was given by Frances Burdick. Naomi Cir.e: Sue Green, 4288 S. 2350 W., Thursday morning, 9.30 a m. The Bible Study will also be led by Mrs Green. The general meeting of the Lutheran Church Women will be held May 18 at 7.30 pm. in the Fellowship Hall. The program chairman, Mis. Robert Hier, has stated that the program will be honoring all mothers. Special music for the evening will be presented by the children's choir as well as other special numbers by children of the congregation. All ladies are urged toattend. Hostesses for the evening will be members of Dorcas Circle. Another work day at the church will be Saturday. Work will begin at 10 a m. Anyone who can spare a few hours to help beautify the church grounds should be present. Those who come are urged to bring garden tools. Our Savior's will begin its summer worship schedule June 6. Worship service will be at 9 30 a.m. Sunday School will continue at the same hour in the Fellowship Hall for children ages 3 through 4th grade. Roy.
