In other words, dont for one minute underestimate his worth or his intelligence. Children are so much more intelligent than one ever gives them credit for -- - from the very moment they are born. Right now, I am looking at a perfectly adorable little baby, Elder Richards was a Salt Lake attorney and once served as U.S. Commissioner of Federal Housing Administration. He also was involved in the mortgage banking business. He was president of the Northwestern States Mission when long. But the physical aspect of growth is certainly only part of 1. His intellectual growth is phenomenal. In the first year of life, the child grows faster than in any other subsequent year. And the beginnings of his social intelligence are traced back to his first year. our beautiful granddaughter, Denise Fae. The moment I glanced at her, her little eyes lit up and she simply sparkled. The responsibility for the care and direction of a childs life is an awesome one. Little ones so quickly pick up mommas attitudes and prejudices - and language, good or bad. From the moment of conception, the body of the child, via the process of cell division, begins to miraculously develop. But youve probably found, as I did when I switched from detergents to plain soap powder, that the laundry just doesnt seem to come out clean enougiw For weeks I fooled around with different things, trying to get that soap to do something. I tried using more bleach, but some colored clothes seem to get faded and drab after repeated bleaching. Adding washing soda to the soap powder helped some but heavy stains, the kind my kids get on their clothes (and .ny husband on his work clothes) stayed in. -- -- -- -- Our y Girl Scout Sunday was observed at Our Saviors last Sunday. Tickets for the dinner may be purchased at the door. Eu-la- Then I found out that my old standby, Lestoil, the liquid cleaner with a special greasecutting ingredient that makes it so terrific in the laundry, contains less than phosdeterphates. Many heavy-dutgent and enzyme products contain well over 35 phosphates which damage the water and underwater life. Lestoil gets out the really tough stains that soap doesnt touch. And it also cuts through the soap film that dulls your clothes and accumulates inside your washer. (Its a good idea to give your washing machine a good cleaning if youve been using soap. Run it through its shortest complete wash cycle with a cupful of Lestoil and that whitish film that helps dull your clothes will vanish.) Now, if youve been floundering around trying to get your clothes clean without detergents, just try this method. It really works.
