The grand finale was the unveiling of the anchor and the presenting of it to the school. Next years senior and junior class officers have been chosen. The newly elected senior class officers are Craig Wold, president. Sharon Barker, vice president. and Tonya Alexander, sec- - P FAC The class officers ior 1968-6were chosen last week by CHS students. The senior class officers will be: Clay Stewart, president, Meredith Spaeth, vice president, and Ryan Barrus, secretary. The junior class officers are Howard Olsen, president, Melba Read, vice president and Marva Dalton, secretary. 9 retary. Taking the role of junior class officers are Del Nichols, president, Shelly Agricola, vice president, and .fan Bruestle, secretary. Our school symbol, is now mounted in the court for everyone to see. The anchor, dedicated to the school at the first part of the year, is now supported by a B in representation of our school. The project for the mounting of the anchor has been a big and successful one. The Lakettes sponsored a stomp end eontrib- - tiled the money earned to the anchor. A drive, in the homeroom classes, was also taken to raise money for the anchors. The Ski Crew' contributed the rest of the money in their treasury to the anchors and the junior class gave the money from the Bing Dance to the project. She was chosen by AFS New York to spend an entire year in Brazil. AFS New York made the final decision to send Prissy which is a national honor. Darlene Rogers was honored in last Fridays awards assembly as the outstanding science student for 1968. This year was no different. After months of waiting the rings finally came and were presented to the individual juniors last Thursday. The Dance. The dance was held in the gym at 8 p.m. with music provided by the Viscounts. Dress was casual. Seniors and sophomores with junior dates were all invited and charged the small admission of 25c. The money made from the dance was given to the school to help pay for the new anchor in the court.
