Hooper News Bowling Clinic Set During the Chriemas, and New Years holidays, most of the leagues cancelled their league play. Only two leagues bowled and that was the Nisei Mens league in which Tom Yamada led all bowlers with a 580 series and the Nisei Ladies league where Alice Hattori led the girls with a 511 series. Sara Kaua took high game honor with a 222 game. The Lanes New Years Eve party was very successful and every participant had a good time. There was plenty of food and prizes were awarded to the high scoring bowlers. Hats and noise makers were given to everyone and when midnight rolled around, everybody really whooped it up. In all, everybody had a really good time. We like to remind all the teenagers about the bowling clinic that is going to be held here on Jan. 7, 1961. This clinic is free for all youngsters from elementary to high school age. It is being held in cooperation with the Salt Lake newspaper and the local lanes. All the entry blanks are available.
