In Kiek Pin Uintah took 1st plaee. The All Stars for kick pin were Margo Stevens, and Mary Jean Jac- took 3rd place. The All Stars were Mary Jean , Jacobs and Margo Stevens. In Volleyball the Laurels and Mai Maids took 1st place. The All Stars were Sharon Peterson and Gayla Dye. In Softball. the Junior team took 3rd place. The All Stars were Karen Cunningham and Mary Jean Jacobs. The Senior team took 2nd place and the All Stars were Sharon Peterson and Ardis Bybee. There were five All American Girls chosen in the Stake. Two came from our own ward, they were Sharon Peterson and Beverly Fernelius. Uintah came in third place during the years sports. The ward sports directors are Claudia Wadman and Beverly Fernelius. To take their places Alberta Peek will be President with Berniel Higley as 1st Counselor. The other Counselor hasnt been selected yet. We wish them well in their new jobs. Jack and Ivy Keyes made a trip to Las Vegas last weekend where they had to get their car after it threw a rod while the were coming across the desert.
