Other players include Jan-ea- l Myers, Connie Fuller, Judy Miller, Janet Gibby, Karen Julie Boswell, Kathy Ritter, Mary Ann Carlsen, Jean Ann Jacobson, Jeart Henderson and Manlee Kight. The girls practice on Saturday mornings at 10 oclock; games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Parents of the girls are urged to attend the games to lend enthusiastic support. The Sewing Sues, Riverdale Club girls, are organized for their fourth year of sewing activity under the direction of Margaret Fuller. They meet each Monday at 10 a.m. at th Fuller home and have several projects in mind for the seasons sewing. President of the group is Janeal Myers, with Jean Ann Jacobsen as vice pres. About 20,000 Kennecott employees, their wives and their children were guests of the company at Field Day held at Lagoon. This huge gathering was similar to hundreds of other family parties that are held throughout Utah during the summer ionths. Children ate miles of hot dogs, drank oceans of soda rides. pop and screamed with delight on a variety of thrill d races and Grownups engaged in such sports as rolling pin throwing contests. Some of the men copipeted in foot races, others took life easy relaxing and dhatting with fellow employees. Everyone listened eagerly for the regular announcements of prize awards. On the surface, Field Day is fun day. Buf if has a deeper significance, too. It brings the thousands of rpembers of the copper family closer together. It helps strengthen bonds of friendship and mutual interest.
