Weber News The reunion of the Hooper First Ward, which was held last Saturday, featured a very unique program. It was under the direction of Joe Allen, June Manning and Jean Richins. Pictures of the history of Hooper were projected on a screen. Alternating with novelty numbers on the stage. PICTURES were shown of some of Hoopers old buildings including schools, churches and stores. The present buildings were also shown. The brass bands, which were the pride of Hooper years ago, were seen in the old band wagon and giving a concert in the band stand. It was noted that Hooper has now progressed to the point where it has no band at all. Ball teams dating back to the horse and buggy days were shown as well as some of the former choirs. The program was climaxed by a Can Can number done by the Sunday School superintendency, Reed Naisbitt, Theron Richins and Howard Cox. A banquet under the direction of Ralph and Elaine Fowers was served to a full house. LE ANNA REED will present her piano students at a recital at her home Friday night. Those who will take part are Perry Widdison, Gaye Read, Rita Rouche, Jerry Ann Widdison and Rayma Read. Both camps of the DUP will meet this week.
