HIGH HIGHLIGHTS By MARSHA FOWERS All the campaigning for student body officers is over for this year. Elections were held Friday May 8. Students voted first period, but they had a long wait until seventh period when the results were announced at a dance held during the last half of the period. THE RESULTS were as follows: Joe Thompson, president; Kath-erWeaver, vicepdesident; Bonnie Bills, secretary; and Ann Mitchell and Toni Fowler, historians. Their opponents were Jay Cottle, Glenda Thurgood, Barbara Jensen, Tamera Peterson, and Donna Lindsey. Fashions Out of this World, was the theme of the fashion show held on Wednesday, May 13. The girls dressed in the dresses, shirts, blouses, or other apparell made in homemaking classes. These girls modeled in front of their mothers and other girls of the school. Refreshments were served to all attending the show. SHRUBS of all kinds and desrip-tio- n were planted around the school during this week. They were bought with money made by the PTA at their carnival. They certainly add a lot to the school grounds. All ninth graders ave their day Friday, May 15th as the anual ninth grade doy gets underway. A movie and dance are featured for the afternoons entertainment. 12, May morning, Tuesday brought more tests for all ninth graders.
