It is a lovely place, brick, modern structure, which Junior built mostly by himself. His right hand in the business was Boyd Mildon. And it is a place to be proud of. And to them, the moving in was the baggest news of century. Talking of homes, Art and Kath- leen Combe are home. They spent the winter n Arizona and California. They went down in their house-bu- s and Art did a good deal of new plant searching. If you have never noticed before, it might be interesting to you to drive around the block where he lives, and just east of his home, on the corner, notice all the desert plants that he has growing. Of course when the blossoms begin bursting, there will be all kinds around Arts place. THE CARS IN the news this week are those belonging to Ron Wright, a white 1959 Cadillac no less. And a little green Ford, which Don Pearson calls his own. Sweet 16, and never owned his own car. Well he docs now, and he sure likes it. George Garner is taking a vacation. He thought it would be anyway. But time alone told him, there is no rest for a hospital victim. Just having his tonsils out, and an operation on his nose was bad enough, but he complains because he never gets iny sleep either. (To good a nursing service?) We wonder who bo hers who! All kidding aside, George has been pretty sick, and wc want to wish him a quick get well. MYRTLE Peterson. Ellen Stoker, May Byboe, Beth Fcrnclius, and Frcdricka Sharp, lent their quilting talents to Ellen Stuart this week wh-- ii she had a quilt on for her Kranddaughlor, Kay Gardner, for a graduation gift. The ladies, dined. as well as quilted and the job was done in short order. Niel Cowdin, dined some guests last week too. A member of one of the Round Robin Building Fund dinner groups, he insisted he must put on a dinner just like the rest of them. With a little assist from ladies of the group and a lot of assist from his good neighbor Maz Bybee, the dinner went off without a hitch, and the whole group complained as usual when it was over, because they had eaten too much. xteen M Men and Gleaners met at Ron and Sharon Wrghts home, and filled themselves with spaget-t- i and meat balls, tossed salad, hot rolls, trimmings then apple pie and ice cream last Monday night.
