They have been in the area for a week, visiting with friends they made living here many years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Cunmngton of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fugate of Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs Joe Read of Kaysville. On Saturday evening a no host dinner was held at Andys Chuck Wagon in their honor with about 15 friends attending. Jack Hobbs has completed 20 years of service at Hill AFB as an electronic mechanic. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Haugen have a new son born on Aug. 28. The little boy joins two brothers and one sister already in the family. Brad and Maxine Wiggill Starkey have a new daughter born on Aug. 23. Mrs. Paul Dawson was hospitalized last week for treatment in the McKay Hospital. Margreth Satterlee is in the University of Utah Hospital receiving treatment. Nelda Bybee has a new grandson born on Aug 25 to Oscar and Wendy Etherington Bybee. The maternal grandparents are Mr. Mrs. and Jim Etherington of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bush have had a number of visitors during the past month, First there was Mrs. Bushs son and his wife the Newton Lishs of LaHabra, Calif, who came for the Campbell family reunion in Pocatello. Mrs. Lish is the former Esther Campbell. They spent some time in the Salmon River area where they have some property. While the Lishs were there Mr. and Mrs. A1 Warr came to see them from Granger. Mrs. Alice Bush and her son Don of Clover also visited and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley D. Bush and their daughter Julie of Hawthorne, Calif, spent a few days here. Guests of the James Dunaways over the weekend were Mrs. Dunaways brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Duaine Anderson of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Dunaways parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Anderson of Ogden and the new bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Dunaway Last weeks column about the Sons of The Pioneers brought a deluge of calls from Roy Sun Chronicle readers commending us on an in- teresting article and demands to know more about the original members of that s group. Young people as weii as were enthusiastic about news of The Sons of The Pioneers. We will be happy to oblige as soon as we can make e contact with such greats as Bob Nolan, Tim Spencer, Smoky Rogers and Roy Rogers who was first known as Leonard Slye.
