In an aside, he informed the Board that State Bank has generously agreed to buy a new scoreboard for the high school, and will own and control the advertising on it for 10 years. He was lavish in his praise of State Bank, explaining how accommodating it has been, while noting that he had no response from other banks. Gillespie stated that he will seek out more ideas and firmer cost estimates to present to the School Board next month. Principal Jacobs said that all interested parties support the project. He also noted when the preschool is moved to the high school and the music room moved and renovated, KHS will have maximized its use of space and will have no room left to grow.
