The couple will be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Thursday, Augusts, 2002. They will be honored at a reception at the Hunter Conference ' Center on the SUU Campus on Friday, August 9, 2002. Clarissa is a 2000 graduat$i of Cedar City High School and has attended SUU for the past two years. Andy graduated from Kanab High School in 1997, He served an LDS Mission to the Yekateringburg, Russia area and has attended Dixie College and SUU. Call the Health Department 7 at for more info or sppt 644-253- Swapp family reunion Descendants of John Edwin and Winnie Riggs Swapp held their biennial family reunion on Saturday, July 27, 2002 at the old ranch house at Sink Valley near Alton, Utah. It was hosted by the children of Madge Swapp Green and Lynn Green; Ralph & Suzanne Watson, Lynette & Craig Waldron, Paul & Sharron Nelson, and Jerry & Vicki Green. There were 105 people present with all eight families repre sented, coming from Florida, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. There are only two left in the first generation, Irene Swapp Johnson and Muriel Swapp, but we have four generations now. Hosts and Hostesses cooked hamburgers, hot dogs and Dutch oven potatoes, with others bringing salads, desserts and watermelon. The afternoon was spent in getting reacquainted and visiting. J. Grant Heaton of Moccasin, Arizona celebrated his 85th Community Calendar birthday on Thursday, August 1,2002. His family honored him at the family cabin and lodge located in Dairy Canyon (above Glendale, UT), on Saturday, August 3, 2002. Grant was bom August 1, 1917 in Moccasin, Arizona to Charles and Maggie Heaton. He married Alma Brown on January 6, 1942. They are the parents of seven children: Jonathan, Robert, Mary, Alan, Larry, Betsy, and Sara. They have 36 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildre- BREAST CANCER SUPPORT. Teresa, the daughter of Barbara Collins of Sandy, Oregon, has been an editor of her hometown newspaper and the recipient of statewide journalism awards. The couple will make their home in Fresno, California. n. Grant still lives in the family home at Moccasin. He also lived in St. George, Utah and Flagstaff, Arizona.
