He was bom June 11, 1923 in Dickey County, North Dakota to moved to California after his graduation. He married Ethel Catherine Percival on October 9, 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Louis worked in a machine shop at Dresser Industries in California where he worked his way up the ladder until he was Superintendent of Production. He went to college part-tim- e during those years, and eventually retired from Dresser after 37 years. He then moved with his wife to a farm in Texas, and in 1986 moved to Kanab, Utah where he loved to fish and hunt. He was also active in the Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include wife Ethel of Kanab; two grandchildren Genevieve Young and Joe Harris; and two Jessica and Ryan Harris.
