General elections Voting District Mass Meetings These meetings are called by each partys County Cenand this year are being held on April 27. Political parties set up nomination conventions to eliminate all but two candoffice idates for each being sought by more than two person. The winners are voted on by the public in a primary election. There are five steps necessary before general elections can be completed. During odd years organizing conventions are held by the parties, during this year nominating convention, are held.
