Show ( ls Too j;3? i i ' ; How Dl bonder if anyone was as aniazed as we vsere to note the listing of new telephone numbers for federal government offices. t Yg counted 238 telephones listed that can be dialed directly, besides the central switchlioar. through which heaven knows how many more phones can be reached. It takes something like this to realize how big our big government has become. Utah is one of the smaller states. If all of the 0 states have ,as much federal government, in proportion of population, as Utah has, there is indeed room for economy in federal govenimeiit. We just dont need that much. If the federal government has that many offices and emone of the ployes to say nothong of telephones in ju-smaller state capitals, then Uncle Sam has grown to thiT proportion of the tail W'agging the dog. By Nona Cooke A good dessert is a work of art and I think that todays recipes are just that. These two belong to Mrs Harry J. That is, if you have more will power than I have.
