Show MmnmwMN On Sunday evening a surprise birthday party was given for Father Valine. A delicious pot luck dinner was served. Father celebrates his birthday onChristmas, Decem- MILFORD IN ber CALL or yi Stacl Smith celebrated her ninth birthday this week., She and her parents, Paul and TrudySmith and brother Shawn went out to dinner on Wednesday. They enjoyed a lovely meal at the Station Restaurant and a special cake made just for her. Then on Friday, she had a slumber party with friends, Jennifer Forman and Kerri Maxey. He fell off the slide at the ElementarySchool and broke his arm in two places. He spent the day in Cedar on Monday of last week having it re -- set. Brandon is home now, and if he is real careful, he will be as good as new in no time. Joyce Johnson of Beaver spent a very delightful day in Milford Saturday visiting with her sister, Vicki Carter and her motherMar-gar- et Grimshaw. Beth Edwards and Vvs Baxters piano students put on a recital for the folks at the Milford Hospital. Parents of the students also enjoyed an evening of Christmas songs played by the students on the piano. Beth and Vvs deserve special recognition extra hours, besides the lessons, helping their students learn songs for recitals and school programs. Besides giving lessons they will 25. Troy Hardy son of Mr. andMrs. Wayne Hardy, is home for the holidays. He has been in Provo attending Utah Tech. Vaughn, Betty, Msry and Viikey McDonald from St. George were here this past weekend visiting with family and friends. The Milford Hospital held their Christmas party last week. Margaret and Jimmy Williams drove to Salt Lake to see Mar-gr- et Dalton, who is s1 11 in the LDS Hospital. Hopefully, she will soon be well enough to come home. Sunday Wilma and Daisel Davis and Todd, Robin and Relye drove to Las Vegas and back. We got caught in the snow storm about five miles out of Cedar. Cars were stalled and truck jack knifed and the visibility was zero so we couldnt turn around and come back. The snow fell so fast that the bottom of the car was dragging the snow with it in just a very short time. Tommy Hollingshead is home for the holidays from college. In Sacrament meeting Sunday, Mitchell Fisher and Lynn Haslem from the High Council spoke and then Mrs. Haslem saidafew words. Delmer and Ilene Gray were in Las Vegas for about a week visiting their children. Jim and Ileen Craw were in Richfield the other day. While there Ileen suffered a heart attack. She came home yesterday from Richfield and they took her to the Milford Hospital. Neal and Jodean Hollingshead spent the day with their folks, Marshall and Nellie Hollingshead. They also went to St. George to a wedding wnile here. Garth Hollingshead has been staying with his sister Reva and Milton Albrecht, but has gone home back East. Ralph won the Chief Fifty Award for enlisting the most enlistments in Utah for 1984. He was also 5th in the nation. He was awarded a plaque and a certificate of achievement. They were back there for six days sight seeing and going to banquets and parties.
