You are struggling through the morning dishes when your ten year old son comes dragging in from watching T. V., saying, "Mom, I'm bored, what can I do?" "Why don't you run out and play?" "But, mom," cries the son, "there's no one to play with." You turn, wipe your wet forehead and feel lost as what to say and your poor young, bored son returns to the stale reruns of some soap opera on T. V. Your hands lay idle in the dirty dish water and your staring out the window in defeat because you Puppet shows, what a blast! here to tell you that there plenty for a young son to do. is There are now several locations around Salt Lake City that your children can go and not only have a good time but also learn creativity, cultural awareness and various sports including arts and crafts. Everyday from 1 :00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Riverside, Jordan and Lindsey parks there is a program such as this taking place. Also, at Fairmont park from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and Jordan School from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All activities are supervised and counselors are always know that tomorrow your son will again confront you with that present. dreaded question, "Mom, what can I do now?" andagain you'll turn away with only a sigh.
