Show Maestro TAX To Head SERVICE 'NCCIRO AT(0 State Folk Singers Date Concert East Maurice Abravanel, musical director of the Utah Symphony, will conduct two concerts of the Philadelphia orchestra in their summer series at the Robin Hood Dell on June 29 and July 1, it was officially announced in Philadelphia today. He will first open the Summer Festival of the University of Utah with a performance G of Aida, after which he will fly to Philadelphia for the rehearsals and concerts. While our maestro has conducted in the past the New York Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic (in the Hollywood Bowl) as well as the leading European orchestras, this will mark his first appearance at the helm of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
