Bullough, permanent 'chairman of the Utah Garden Center, simply would not take no for an answer. Today because of her determination and can-d- o attitude, Utahs 39 garden clubs now .have a permanent home. Mrs. Bullough spearhead-edth- e long, uphill climb to gain flower enthusiasts a place for meetings, shows and floral schools. Home for blossom boosters will be the modernistic Utah Garden Center in Sugarhouse Park. Flower Show School course III will run September 22 through 24 at the Center. First two days will be devoted to horticulture and flower arranging, a written exam is slated for the last day. Although Mrs. Bullough encourages persons to register for all three days, she said that one or two day Instruction is available. When not busy with flowers, M rs. Bullough enjoys bowling, swimming and sewing. Her husband, William, is a tool superintendent at Amco Equipment and Steel Company. The Bulloughs live at 2009 Nevada' Street. With the formal opening of the Utah Garden Center, September 20, Mrs. Bullough is optimistic that Utahs garden clubs will finally begin to bloosom.
