Show AEC, Army Religion prof, to deliver main address give awards; on to Chicago Larry Ford, a junior and next year's studentbodv historian, won the first place United States Atomic Commission Energy Special Award at the 18th International Science Fair in San Francisco during the week of May Sixty-seve- ly close Vol. 24, No. Brigham Young High School, Provo, Utah 16 May 23, 1967 943. Larry received a certificate signed by the chairman of the AEC, Mr. Glen T. Seaboard, and a blue ribbon for this honor. He is also entitled to spend a Nuclear Research Orientation Week at the AEC's Argonne National Laboratory near Chicago. Larry will take this trip Aug. Also at the science fair, Larry received the first place certificate given by the U.S. Army. This was signed by the secretary of the Army, Stanley Resor. He also received the Army's blue ribbon for his outstanding sicence fair exhibit. Mr. Rex Arnett, supervisor of the DDCS program and former Spanish teacher of BY. will be the only instructor on sabbatical leave next year. He is planning to attend the University of Texas, beginning with the summer sessions. to work for his doctor's degree in education.
