Show I J Wildcats go for 4th straight against Devils 13 members constitute paper staff Larry Christensen, a senior from Springville, has been named Sun for editor of the Latter-Dathe first semester, Adviser Hal Williams announced today. Named as Larrys assistant was Dawn Thurston, also a senior. Larry has been on the staff two years. Dawn one If we ever learn how to spell, well be Larry jokingly declared; irregardless, we do hope the students will take newsan interest in the paper and contribute to its success this year. Loren Duke or Brian will take the right half position while Rick Gunn covers the left half slot. The line is spearheaded by Ray Valgardson and Frank Maas at tackle, Dave Rich (moved from halfback) and Sherm Smith at guard. Brent Peterson will probably fill the center position. Ends are Scott Bernhard, Steve Peterson, Ray Beckham, Alan Thomson, and Dan Clark. End Mel Martin has the first injury of the season in the form of a chipped ankle. He turned it during punt return practice. Mel is expected to be back in action soon after the Springville game. The Devils, traditional will be relying very much on Rich Orr, a returning letterman at fullback. Quarterback will probably be Russ Hammond who had to replace Richard Thorpe who graduated last year.
