They worked on posteis, pictures and activities for the five prospective queens. Each candidate had one campaign manager to be in charge of her campaign. They were Paul Denham for Sharlene, Kent Peterson for Kristine, Brent Yorgason for Janet, Mike Royal for Pam and Finn Christensen for Janice. The Lettermen are certainly to be congratulated for their work and effort in supporting each of the five girls. After the homecoming assembly, Wednesday, the ballots were marked and fingers were crossed. The studentbody waited in suspense until Thursday at the half-tim- e of the big Homecoming game with Lehi. PAUL DENHAM was emcee at the game where the results were told. Janet Peterson was queen with Sharleen Stone and Janice Gerber as attendants. The three lucky queens were given a ride around the field in a beautiful white convertible and were shown to the students in that manner. In the center, wearing a gorgeous blue velvet robe, sat Janet Peterson who was indeed a happy girl. Seated on her side were her atendants also with happy smiles. After their trip around the field they were escorted across the turf to address the students.
