John is dreaming of being a student at B. Y. High when we return, and my interest is in the school that has been a very part of me for nine years. You may be sure, that our support and intense interest will be with you in all of your activities. More and more Utah victories and lifes victories are in store for you. Somehow B. Y. High is the focus for this entire years activities for me. I never visit a school, see an athletic event, a school play, but I compare it with our B. Y. lligh. I want the educational leaders here at Peabody to know just how excellent our own high school is in Utah among the Rockies. There is such a pride in the backgrounds of the South among the people we meet. The students are and so proud of the numerous historic shrines. We of the Yld Cat staff wish to express our thanks to you for the support you have given the team thus far. In the past issues of the school paper we have asked for your cooperation in backing our team and cheering them on to victory. We are very pleased with the results. You have not only cheered for our boys, but you have also made our faculty proud of you. Even the towns people have noticed what good sports the students of Y high have been. This is especially noticed during the ball games when foul shots are made. Most of the opposing schools have booed whenever a foul has been called on one of their men, and enoughnoise couldnt be made when our man has stepped to the free throw line in an attempt to add another point or two to our scare. You are to be commended on the attitude you have taken this basketball season. We only hope that you will keep up the good works and continue cheering our team through the STATE TOURNAMENT. CHIME RINGERS Visit Y HIGH QUILL AND SCROLL In a special meeting held Tuesday, January 24, Betty Wallace was elected president and Nila Brown secretary of the Quill and Scroll Honorary club.
