We wanted a crossing pattern deep on our play with 56 seconds left in the fourth quarter and we also wanted to get out of bounds. Todd Mulville adjusted his route cause Gordie (Limb) was scrambling. He threw the ball and took Mulville deep. He got one step behind his defender and he was gone, stated Uintah High School head coach Hank Nawahine. We were at the two yard line and our fourth down play in overtime was an action lead pass right. We were going to pass all the way and we figured that would fool them (Spanish Fork). Gordie adjusted to Mulville. Mulville curled back inside and the pass was on the way. He caught it for a touchdown. It seemed like the pass took forever to get there. He threw it up and I came down with it and scored. It was broken play and it ended up being six for a touchdown. It was called a Hail Mary pass. I just threw it up. The play was a pass goal line and I did a five yard out. Limb rolled to the right and threw it up and to me. I received good blocking by the linemen, stated Mulville. It was a goal line right and he lobbed it up and it fell right in my arms. Ute quarterback Limb remarked, They blitzed so I rolled the other way and found Mulville. Everyone was doing an out pattern, trying to get open I saw a guy coming up on me, so I threw it to Todd Mulville. 26-2- Mulville scored Uintahs first touchdown with one second left in the first half on a pass catch, but a 25 yard touchdown catch by Kyle White in the third quarter got the Utes back in the game. The game was only a minute away from starting again and I needed to get my program back and I said, Can I help you. What is your cousins name? He said, His team is Chris and where is the Springville side of the program? I remarked, This is the Uintah-SpanisFork game. The team in the red and white is Uintah.
