Cecil Alter, government meterologist in Salt Lake. Sugar beets made a good growth, spring grains continued to mature satisfactorily and the harvest of dry farm grain and some early second crop alfalfa and bh threshing of dry land grain progressed rapidly and favorably. Some early spring grain was cut in the Salt Lake valley, the report said.
