satellites Under NASA’s "Getaway Special’ which provides small cargo space on the shuttle at a relatively low cost a group of USU students have prepared a variety of experiments This culmination of a unique learning experience for the students will fly on the first "Getaway Special" possibly early next year on the first scientific mission of the shuttle The program is funded by donations of USU professors to purchase spaor for the student projects The level of the effort of programs at USU is indicated by the fact that all together some 35 faculty and many more than that number of students are immersed in space shuttle and related projects t Many other specialized technical people are involved with them in varied atmospheric research projects at VSMe i " - |
